Frequently Asked Questions

Never worked with a graphic designer before? You're in good company. Many of my clients are entrepreneurs or small business owners who have never worked with a designer. Many of your burning questions can be answered here...

01

What exactly do you do?

First and foremost, I listen to you and learn about your needs. What is your business? Who are you trying to reach? Who are your competitors? What marketing currently have in place? What are your goals?  Once we get down to the heart of your business needs, I can help you develop the visuals and graphics to meet your goals.

I also have a background in communications and marketing and am happy to help you with basic positioning and message if needed.

02

How does the graphic design process work?

First, we'll set up a meeting to discuss your needs. We can meet in person, chat via phone or Skype,  or email - whichever is most convenient for you.

Once we determine your needs, I'll put together a formal estimate for services and a basic timeline for the project. When the estimate is approved, I ask for a 50% deposit to begin work.  I'll send you concepts and proofs via email, and we'll collaborate to perfect the design. When approved, you'll recieve final, print- or web-optimized files, and the remaining balance will be due.

03

How much do graphic design serivces cost?

Every project is different, and I put together pricing estimates based on the size and scope of the design. Typically, I offer package pricing for projects so that you know exactly what to expect.  If you have ongoing design needs, I am also available to work on retainer.

My goal is to offer fairly-priced and affordable graphic design services that is accessible for businesses just starting out and for non-profits that usually don't have large marketing budgets.

04

What programs do you use?

I primarily use Adobe Creative Suite programs for design (Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign). For printed work, I will provide you with print-ready PDF files and can either help you find a printing partner or work with your print vendor.

I can also provide templates in MS Word or Powerpoint for customers who need to be able to easily change and customize designs for in-house printing.

05

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, check, major credit cards and PayPal.

06

Why pick Morgan Graphic Design?

I'll be honest - there are a lot of options for design out there, from sites like Fiverr to crowdsourcing sites to full-blown ad agencies.

Generally, you get what you pay for. If you purchase a logo design from a website for $5, it's likely a stock design that doesn't take into account your specific business, your market, your audience, etc.

Ad agencies are great, but not everyone can afford to retain a full-service agency, especially when they're just starting out.

That's where I come in. My niche is the intersection of quality and accessibility. I pride myself on great customer service, timely work, affordability and quality design. See what some of my clients have to say about my work.
